Campbell Hausfeld 1-1/4" Brad Nailer/Stapler 2-in-1 Review

A nail gun is an essential part of any woodworker or hobbyist’s arsenal, and it’s probably the tool I use the most.  Endless projects around the house and my woodworking business have me reaching for mine constantly, and picking the right nail gun for the job matters.

The Campbell Hausfeld 2-in-1 Brad Nailer/Stapler offers a well-built, high-quality option at a price point that is easy on the wallet.

CAMPBELL HAUSFELD 1-1/4” BRAD NAILER/STAPLER 2-IN-1 FEATURES

The moment I picked up the Campbell Hausfeld 2-in-1 Nailer/Stapler, I could tell it was a quality tool.  The ergonomically designed grip is made of molded rubber, which ensures the nail gun fits comfortably in my hand and guarantees it won’t slip when I’m working in the garage in summertime with sweaty palms.

The magazine has a max capacity of 100 brad nails or staples and it boasts a quick clear nose with a non-marring tip.  It has an adjustable depth control wheel as well as adjustable exhaust.

TESTING THE CAMPBELL HAUSFELD 1-1/4” BRAD NAILER/STAPLER 2-IN-1

The most frustrating part of working with my old nail gun was when I’d line up what I thought was a straight shot, and instead the nail would blow out the side of my piece.  Few things get me saltier than pulling out a crooked nail and patching up my project.

I realize now the reason for so many crooked nails was the narrow, wobbly tip on the nail gun I was previously using.  The Campbell Hausfeld 2-in-1 Nailer/Stapler has a solid, wide, square tip, which helps me line up my shot perfectly.  No more wasting time with pliers and putty fixing blown out nails!  I’ve put a few hundred nails through this gun already, and it’s worked perfectly every time.

FINAL THOUGHTS ON THE CAMPBELL HAUSFELD 1-1/4” BRAD NAILER/STAPLER 2-IN-1

I admit that before using this tool I thought “a nail gun is a nail gun” and it doesn’t matter which one I choose.  I now realize that was absurd because it’s the little things that add up to make using a nail gun a great experience.

The Campbell Hausfeld products I’ve used are well-thought out, ergonomically designed tools and this 2-in-1 Nailer/Stapler is no exception.  With limitless applications around the house and shop, I’m happy to add this little nail gun to my tool collection.
